City of Ormond Beach - Development of a Contamination Assessment Report PDF Print E-mail

Barnes, Ferland and Associates, Inc. was responsible for the development and implementation of a contamination assessment plan and preparation of contamination assessment reports for the four City of Ormond Beach’s fueling facilities. All four CARs were prepared under the requirements of 62- 770 and subsequently approved by FDEP without request for additional information.

The assessment of the Public Works Facility was complicated by the numerous water, sewer and stormwater utility lines which cross the impacted area, and the proximity of the contamination plume to the City’s water plant wellfield.

Assessment methodologies employed:

  • OVA screening;
  • Temporary and permanent monitoring well installation;
  • Hydraulic testing;
  • Lithologic evaluation.
Project Term: 12/94 - 12/96
Performance Period: 12/94 - 12/96
Fee for Services: $158,052
