City of Live Oak - Continuing Consultant

Mr. Ronald P. Ferland, P.E. and Charles E. Hortenstine, P.E. have both worked with the City of Live Oak on various municipal projects as the City’s continuing consultants. The projects have varied greatly in scope ranging from development review to a water treatment plant renovation design. The construction cost of the projects performed to date is approximately $3 million. The various projects include the following:

  • Water Treatment and Supply Study
  • Design and Construction Management of a 1.25 MGD Lime Softening Water Treatment Plant.
  • Design and Construction Management of the Baker Subdivision Water and Wastewater System and Road Paving Program
  • Design and Construction Management of the Phase I and II Wastewater System Improvement Projects.
  • Design and Construction Management of the Pump Station No. 10 Renovation.
  • Operating Permit Renewal for the 1.25 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant. Tasks included the development of an Operation and Maintenance Performance Report and a Capacity Analysis Report.
  • Negotiation assistance for the City’s Solid Waste Agreement with Suwannee County.
  • Development of the City’s Sampling and Laboratory Quality Assurance Program (QAP).
