Barnes, Ferland and Associates, Inc. (BFA) provides the City of Maitland Water Department general water consultant services on an as-needed basis. Specific projects completed include:

• Preparation of a cross-connection control program;
• Preparation of a corrosion control evaluation report and FDEP general construction permit application;
• Preparation of a confined space entry program/procedures;
• Water distribution system hydraulic analysis and identification of improvements required to connect the existing private utility facilities to the City’s system. This assignment included participation at a public workshop for affected residents;
• Design, permitting and construction management of 4500 gpm lower Floridan aquifer well;

• Consumptive Use Permit application and response to Water Management District request for additional information (currently underway);
• Design, permitting and construction management of approximately 5 miles of water mains throughout the City;
• Miscellaneous “on-call” items as they arise, including water operation trouble-shooting.
